£XXX
Robust bin lifter, ideal for indoor uses such as manufacturing and exterior uses such as construction, particularly in space restricted locations.
First introduced in 1998, the MegaDumper® has proven its efficiency in the most demanding of environments with its ultra-reliable bin-tipping mechanism and 600kg capacity.
- 0.7m-6.0m standard tipping heights
- 600kg capacity (max gross bin weight)
- 16,000kg of material per charge / 10,000kg per hour continuous duty cycle - battery/mains-powered
- Battery/Solar/3-phase power supply
Key features
- Takes pride in being the safest and most reliable industrial waste bin tipper in the market; comes with a swing-up door with safety interlock system and full-height guarding.
- A unique tipping action whereby bins are lifted straight up, and then gently rolled forward around the lip of the receptacle being emptied into.
- High stability and a small footprint, and a wide range of tipping heights, from 900mm to more than six metres.
- Standard lifting capacity of 600kg (optionally upgraded to 700kg).
- Standard tipping heights from 0.9 metres up to 6.0 metres.
- A reliable electro-hydraulic mechanism which requires very little maintenance.
- A hot-dip galvanised frame and cradle.
- A versatile cradle system which lifts many common waste bins without modification, clamping or retaining. The standard Type-E cradle lifts EN840 wheelie bins from the base, avoiding damage to the bin’s combing and extending bin life.
- A modular design which can be easily adapted to unique requirements, including non-standard bins, tipping heights and power supplies.

“The MegaDumper® is a great piece of kit. We found it very easy to set up upon delivery and very easy and simple to use. On a busy day we can empty comfortably over 100 bins into our 40 yard skips which means the MegaDumper® really makes a difference with waste management on site. Plus it is very low maintenance.
“Even though the MegaDumper® is quite a substantial piece of kit, we have also found it very easy to move around. This means it is not only useful as we can move it around to fill all areas of the skip, we can also use it to fill other skips onsite.
“I highly recommend using a MegaDumper® and would definitely want to use it on future projects.”

“The MegaDumper® has been instrumental for The JRL Group in the reduction of risk from mobile moving machinery on our projects. With its user-friendly operation allowing the projects to empty in excess of a hundred 1100ltr wheelie bins into our 40 yard RORO skips it has reduced time, risk and cost. We look forward to seeing the MegaDumper® in action on all our future projects.”

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
What is the MegaDumper®?
The Simpro MegaDumper® is based on the proven design principles of the Dumpmaster®, and is probably the safest and most reliable industrial waste bin tipper available. Originally designed for emptying 660-litre and 1100-litre wheelie bins weighing up to 600kg, the MegaDumper® can be easily adapted to empty almost any container at heights beyond six metres.
How does the MegaDumper® work?
The MegaDumper® is a versatile bin-lifting machine, used for various applications such as pouring food ingredients into mixers and emptying rubbish bins into skips. The MegaDumper® has a unique tipping action that lifts the bin straight up and rolls it upside down over the receptacle.
What are the safety features of the MegaDumper®?
Safety of the operator is of primary concern to Simpro Europe and the MegaDumper® contains the following safety features:
- Mesh and sheet-metal panels which prevent access to all moving parts.
- A safety interlock system which disables the machine unless the door is shut, and electrically locks the door as soon as the cradle leaves the ground.
- A tipping action which maintains the weight of the bin within the machine footprint.
- A pressure-compensating lowering valve which automatically regulates the lowering speed regardless of the weight of the bin.
- A control system which either:
- stops the machine unless continuous operator input is received, or;
- features a prominent EMERGENCY STOP button to disable the machine.
What are the maintenance requirements for the MegaDumper®?
The MegaDumper® is designed to give many years of service with minimal maintenance. Regular preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) should be carried as this helps ensure operator safety and extend the service life of the machine.
Where can the MegaDumper® be used?
With a modular design, the MegaDumper® is suitable for many different applications – from emptying rubbish into compactors, to pouring ingredients into mixers. Designed for indoor and outdoor use. No matter how it is used, the MegaDumper® has proven to be safe, economical, and easy to operate, year after year
