600 kg lifting capacity, ultra-heavy-gauge steel frame with bolt-down lugs, guarding and doors.
Hiflow® is a heavy-duty static bin lifter suitable for high volume waste requirements such as shopping centres, stadiums, holiday villages and apartment buildings.
- 1.8m standard tipping heights
- 600kg capacity (max gross bin weight)
- 20,000kg of material per hour continuous duty cycle
- 3-phase power supply
Key features
- A patented comb-hitch system which locks bins into place while they are lifted and tipped.
- With just three moving parts, this robust system can lift all sizes of EN840 bin without clamping.
- A tipping action which lifts the bins straight up, and then gently rolls them forward around the lip of the destination receptacle.
- A standardised control interface which allows simple, fast integration with other waste processing equipment.
- Suitable to use as a replacement for bin lifters built into high-volume waste processing equipment, such as compactors and balers.
- The option of a Cat3 (PLd) or Cat4 (PLe) safety monitoring system in accordance with AS/NZS4024:2014.
- Flexible bin compatibility: 1 x 1100L Wheelie Bin or 1 x 660L Wheelie Bin or simultaneously 2 x any of the following: 240L Wheelie Bin, 140L Wheelie Bin, 120L Wheelie Bin, 80L Wheelie Bin, 60L Wheelie Bin.
- Standard lifting capacity of 600kg (optionally upgraded to 700kg).
- Standard tipping heights from 0.9 metres up to 3.0 metres.
- A reliable, low-maintenance design.
- A fully hot-dip galvanised frame, tipping guide and comb-hitch.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
What is the Hiflow®?
The Hiflow® is a static bin lifting system designed for standalone high volume requirements and to seamlessly fit within waste processing equipment such as balers and compactors.
How does the Hiflow® work?
The Hiflow®’s tipping action is an advanced version of the system used on Simpro bin-tipping machines for many years. It is simple and efficient and allows the machine to have a comparatively small footprint, regardless of the tipping height. The Hiflow® also has a patented comb-hitch system which can lift and empty all sizes of EN840-standard bins from 60L to 1100L, with no adjustment and no need to clamp or strap bins in place.
What are the safety features of the Hiflow®?
Safety of the operator is of primary concern to Simpro Europe and the Hiflow® contains the following safety features:
- Sheet-metal panels which prevent operator access to all moving parts.
- A safety interlock system which disables the machine unless both doors are shut, and locks the doors as soon as the comb-hitch leaves the ground.
- A tipping action which always maintains the weight of the bin within the machine footprint to ensure stability.
- A pressure-compensating lowering valve which automatically regulates the lowering speed regardless of the weight of the bin.
- A control system which immediately stops the machine whenever the RAISE or LOWER button is released
What are the maintenance requirements for the Hiflow®?
The Hiflow® requires minimal maintenance and is designed for long-lasting operation. Regular checks and lubrication are recommended to ensure optimal performance.
Where can the Hiflow® be used?
The Hiflow® is specifically designed to lift high volumes of waste and can be operated both indoors and outdoors. There are some environmental parameters which apply:
- Height above sea level of not more than 1000m.
- Ambient temperature not higher than +40℃ and not lower than -10℃.
- At ambient temperatures above 35℃, the relative humidity should not exceed 50%; at lower temperatures, higher relative humidity is permitted.
- Do not use in flammable, explosive, corrosive, acidic or alkaline environments.
